Mayo Underwood has a B.A. from Rosemont College and an M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania. She is founder and owner of Underwood Gardens, a seed company that specializes in open-pollinated/heirloom seeds of vegetables, herbs, flowers and "curiosities," both rare and endangered. Wherever she has lived, both in America and abroad, she has gathered and saved seeds, which her company now sells internationally. |
