Possibility Place Nursery
Since
1983, Connor Shaw has been growing only indigenous trees
and shrubs on his 55 acre nursery near Monee, Illinois.
Ninety percent of the seed used for propagation is
collected in Northwestern Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin
and Iowa. Possibility Place employs the use of five
gallon containers and root bags, among other methods, to
stimulate root production, increasing the viability of
its plants.

Northwind Perennials
In 1991, Roy Diblik, Colleen Garrigan, and Steve Coster founded Northwind Perennial Farm in southeast Wisconsin, just outside of Lake Geneva on a century-old farm. Now a retail and wholesale business, Northwind is a specialist in providing hardy plants species that withstand this region's Zone 5 winters. The proof? Some twenty thousand plants that they grew for Chicago's Millenium Park.
Intrinsic Perennial Gardens
Intrinsic Perennial Gardens, Inc. is a wholesale container nursery started in 1992.
They grow mainly 1 gallon perennials including tender perennials, ferns, grasses, shrubs and vines.
