Chicago Botanic Garden
The Chicago Botanic Garden has 23 garden areas, numerous education programs, and research facilities.

Garfield Park Conservatory
The Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago, one of the largest and most stunning conservatories in the nation, was recently transformed, as the old, weathered fiberglass panels above the Palm House were replaced with glass. The Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance works with public and private organizations to develop programs that offer residents, young and old, a chance to learn about gardening and the environment.

The Morton Arboretum
The Morton Arboretum is 1,700 acres of plants and gardens, with classes, seminars, workshops and field trips to explore them. The Sterling Morton Library is open to students, gardeners, natural history enthusiasts, and anyone else who wishes to make use of it.

Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Gardens
This 155-acre site in Rockford, Illinois, includes demonstration gardens, an educational center, a special events garden with an performance stage, an enabling garden, and a number of other attractions.

Oak Park Conservatory
The Oak Park Conservatory has 8,000 square feet of growing areas, making it the third largest conservatory in the Chicago area! It is often used as a meeting place for Chicago area plant enthusiasts, including the begonia, gesneriad, and cactus and succulent societies. The Conservatory offers many special exhibitions and programs.
