Donna Danielson was the plant health care technician at the Morton Arboretum from 1997 to 2004, diagnosing insect and disease problems and preparing the plant health care report, a weekly newsletter about insects and disease problems for the Arboretum web site. In April of 2004, she was promoted to plant clinic assistant at the Arboretum, answering tree questions and helping to train plant clinic volunteers. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh and an A A.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from College of Dupage, as well as an M.S. in Crop Sciences from the University of Illinois, with an emphasis on pests on ornamental plants.
