Dr. Raymond A. Cloyd is an extension specialist in ornamental entomology for the state of Illinois, owner and manager of Ray Cloyd Landscape Gardeners and Horticultural Consultants, Monterey, CA, and recipient of the following awards: Robert O. and Norma Y. Williams Pest Control Conference Award 1994, 1995, & 1997, Bedding Plants Foundation, Inc.; John Carew Memorial Scholarship 1997; Dow AgroSciences Graduate Scholarship 1998. He is also an Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist in Ornamental Entomology / Integrated Pest Management for the University of Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. His responsibilities in the research and extension program involve pest management in greenhouses, nurseries, landscapes, turfgrass, conservatories, and interiorscapes.
